New Building Code Report Puts NCFI's Hight Performance Spray Foam Insulation in Rarefied Air:
Mount Airy, NC—A new report issued by the International Code Council Evaluation Service, ICC-ES, the body responsible for evaluating product compliance with ICC codes and standards used to construct residential and commercial buildings spells good news for NCFI Polyurethanes by scoring a hattrick. The report, ESR-1615, certifies NCFI as the only manufacturer with products compliant for all residential and commercial building according to the 2009 International Building Code (IBC), International Residential Code (IRC), and International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), and certifies them for the latest Florida Building Code and for single and multi-story buildings located in High- Velocity Hurricane Wind Zones. . .

ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-1615:
InsulStar® and InsulBloc® are two-component, closed-cell, one-to-one-by-volume spray polyurethane foam systems with a nominal density of 2 pcf (32 kg/m3). InsulStar® and InsulBloc® insulation's liquid components are supplied in nominally 55-gallon (208 L) drums, labeled as "A" component or "R" component. The insulation components have a shelf life of six months when stored at temperatures between 70°F (21°C) and 90°F (32°C). . .

ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-1154:
The Sealite insulation must be installed in accordance with the manufacture's published installation instruction and this report. The manufacturers's published installation instructions and this report must be strictly adhered to, and a copy of the instructions must be available at all times on the jobsite during installation. . .

ICC-ES Evaluation Report ESR-2478:
Gaco Green 052 and Gaco Polyfoam 193 spray-applied foam plastic insulation are used as thermal insulation material in cavities of wall, floor and ceiling assembles and in attic and crawl space application in buildings of Type V-B construction under the IBC and in dwelings constructed in accordance with the IRC, as described in Section 4.4

ICC-ES Attic & Crawlspace Fire Testing Protocol:
On June 03, 2009, the International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC-ES) approved changes in AC- 377, Acceptance Criteria for Spray Allied Polyurethane Foam.This approval had the effect of sunsetting a previous fire testing method and implementing a new one, with phase- out milestones extending to December 2010.
